For as long as I can remember I have been fat. From as early as 7 years old I can remember the hunger pains in my tummy from being on a diet. Since then I have been on every diet under the sun & I'm still a fatty. You name it I have tried it.
In fareness I have lost weight on all of them so they all work but then after about 6 months the weight goes back on with a little more.
Without sounding sorry for myself (which I must add I'm not) I am not happy with how I look or feel.
So wanting the quick fix as we all do with everything now a days I went to my GP whom I trust & respect I asked him to help. He said the usual which I said yes I know yes I have done that can you not just give me a magic pil please.
The answer was not what I wanted to hear
Just stop shuffing so much rubbish into your mouth. Is simple
WOW not what I expected
So not wanting to hear that I was being treated for an accident at work & to cut a long story short I explained to my consultant that because of the accident I had piled the weight on because I could no longer lead the active lifestyle I had been. Teaching Martial Arts 4 times a week & Joinery & building work for a job, could he prescrible something to help as it was making me depressed.
His answer
Stop eating as much crap & start making health choices.
AAAAAHHHHHHH. No that is not what I want to hear. So once I had stopped mumbbling to myself about how they hadn't got a clue how they just couldn't be bothered I calmed down & thought maybe I should look into what they were saying they had been spot on in every other bit of my health care mybe I needed to take responsibility for my life a little more & find out WHY I AM STILL FAT.

So why is the health industry worth £2 billion in the UK if all the diets work, if the gym works, calories in calories out works why are we facing an obesity epademic.
Who is telling the truth & who is lying to us.
What is the money going on & who to.
